Days Gone Search Runner Cave

Runner cave, mission full of wolves.. this is driving me crazy, whatever tips?

In that location's probably a dozen wolves in this identify, only they continue striking me through my melee, multiple times.. dodging seems to miss generally.. trying to conserve on ammo, but any tips would exist helpful! Should I merely go loud?! I have a MWS, a stubby, and a crossbow with very limited ammo..

I'grand and so frustrated I'm about to put the game down for the night.. It's the only mission I have to practise in this surface area, and so I tin't just go back later.. damn this is pissing me off!

I concluded up going loud. I tried the stealth way similar you to prevent every bit much noise as possible but got frustrated as well. Then pull out that AR and go to town

level 2

I've tried that a few times, maybe I'm just having bad luck, simply they go on attacking me ii at a time and keep killing me regardless of my approach.. I've washed almost every come across silently (username checks out).. merely fuck homo, these wolves only hit me multiple times no thing what I practice!

level 1

Yeah this part on Survival was a nightmare, couldn't even come across which direction they're coming from. Eventually I merely had my assault rifle out moving very slowly through the cave and lighting them up equally before long equally they appear, forget stealth these sneaky bastards always seem to find and locate you very quickly so no betoken.

level 2

About games I look forwards to the harder difficulty, but with how much of a pain in the ass some of these encounters are.. fuck that. This game is fun, just incredibly frustrating at times!

level 1

I experience your pain. I couldn't trounce this mission to save my life. Ended up asking my sis to crush it for me lol

level 2

Yeah, I love the tension this game creates in most scenarios, but those runners are only a pain in the donkey. Probably would have helped if I invested a fleck in health, simply having lots of stamina is a cracking quality of life.

level 1

damn wolves always seemed to hitting me kickoff no affair how I tried to melee them.

level two

Yep, they'd hit me twice to my ane hit, fucking pissed me off.. Concluded up using a few residue bolts to shrink their numbers, but damn.. what a shitty mission.

level 1

Practice information technology ho-hum. I also let them come to me and make sure you suppressor is on.

level i

Aye fuck that mission, and then much bullshit for so little advantage. Looking back on information technology, best thing I can think to exercise is to observe the choke points and set explosive traps for them to run through or apply attractors (never used attractors on runners before so idk if it works just suggesting) and molotovs. Or you tin can get dorsum a save and grab 1 of the higher end shotguns

level 2

I haven't done my first horde yet and honestly I'one thousand fearful of information technology, so all explosives are beingness saved for that.. ended up using residue bolts and a ton of bandages/luck.

level i

I kept my survival vision going and used a crossbow for all of them. The second you lot tin can fire, fire.

level ii

I ended upward using mainly the crossbow too. It'due south too chaotic to become head-to-head with them, so I hitting a few with residue bolts then drew the others to me. Then I just ran and gear up explosives for the rest

level 2

Information technology sucks though because it takes more i pointer and I but didn't bring that many.. that'southward my preferred weapon, so it's a struggle keeping the materials

level 1

I merely brought an assload of health. stamina and focus cocktails and tried to headshot equally many of them as i could

level one

I hate wolves/runners. You can't melee them without getting hitting, and yous burn down a ton of focus trying to shoot one. I think I ended up using a couple residuum bolts, then simply spraying with the Chopper

level ii

I don't have the chopper yet, ended upwardly using the residue bolts like y'all suggested, which helped get them downwardly to a more than manageable level.. merely had enough to arts and crafts ane batch, luckily that was enough!

Thanks for the tip!

level i

This is the shittiest mission in the entire game and bad design all around, near impossible to even see where the fucking things are coming from...
